We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to support industrial freight rail and transportation infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
• Prepare civil/rail design plans, profiles, grading, and drainage layouts
• Develop alignments and grading surfaces using survey/topographic data
• Produce drawings and design packages using OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation
• Support project schedules, cost estimates, specifications, and quality control
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams across multiple active projects
Requirements
• 5+ years of civil design experience
• Must have proficiency with OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
• Experience with alignments, grading, drainage, and survey data
• Rail experience strongly preferred; highway/transportation experience may also be considered
• PE license not required
