Site Civil Engineer

Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day civil works and construction activities at project sites in Karnataka, India. Responsibilities include supervising site execution as per drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. The role involves monitoring progress, preparing daily/weekly reports, assisting in planning and resource allocation, and resolving technical issues that arise on site. The engineer will collaborate with project managers and design teams to implement civil engineering solutions, support inspections and testing, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, India.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering fundamentals and professional competence in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design
Experience working as part of Civil Engineers teams on infrastructure or construction projects
Planning skills related to scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring site progress
Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related site infrastructure works
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies
Proficiency in reading drawings and using basic engineering and surveying tools; exposure to CAD or similar software is an advantage
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in field conditions
Prior site experience in infrastructure or heavy civil projects in India is preferred
