We also build Astra, an AI co-pilot for consulting and research professionals.Our founder brings 15+ years in business design and corporate innovation, and you will work directly with him throughout the engagement.

5+ years of management consulting experience.

Role Description The Senior Management Consultant (AI-Augmented) will lead live client engagements on the Astra platform, our AI co-pilot built for consulting and research professionals. This is a fully remote, contract role based in the Asia-Pacific timezone.
This is a rare opportunity for a senior consultant to work at the intersection of rigorous client advisory and applied AI.
Astra is an AI-powered consulting and research co-pilot, built to help professionals think faster, research deeper, and deliver better work. At Lenz, we are piloting a new consulting model where Astra sits alongside the consultant as an active working partner throughout every engagement. This role is central to proving that model in practice.
The engagement has two equally important tracks. The first is delivering a live client project to a high professional standard. The second is working with Astra throughout that project to develop a repeatable AI-augmented consulting methodology. Neither track is secondary. You will be accountable for both.
You will work directly with the Founder of Lenz throughout. This is a close, collaborative working relationship with someone who is personally invested in the quality of both the client work and the methodology being built.
What you will be doing
Track one : Live client engagement:
* Own the full consulting lifecycle for a real client project, from problem definition and scoping through to final recommendations and delivery
* Structure your research approach from a standing start, integrating external sources with client-provided information to build conclusions that are well-grounded and evidence-based
* Assess business cases, model ROI where relevant, and translate financial and operational data into a clear, actionable narrative for senior stakeholders
* Produce client-ready deliverables to a professional standard - memos, research reports, and structured decks that you would be proud to put your name on
* Deliver competitive landscape analysis , deep-dive strategic analysis, and focused quarterly insight reports.
Track two :AI-augmented methodology using Astra ( Agentic AI Platform for Consultants):
* Use the Astra platform actively at every phase of the engagement, from early research and hypothesis development through to synthesis, drafting, and refinement
* Document precisely where Astra accelerated your work, where it needed correction, and where your own expertise and judgement remained essential
* Deliver a structured retrospective on the Astra platform's performance across each phase of the engagement, with a clear, practical recommendation for how this methodology should be refined and scaled for future engagements
What we are looking for:
Mandatory: EEE or Electrical Engineering degree, 5+ years at a top-tier consulting firm, available to start within three to four weeks (see above)
An MBA or advanced degree from a recognised institution
Strength in strategy, market research, and business analysis
A record of owning engagements end to end: framing the problem, building the framework, running the research, delivering the final report
Strong analytical and financial fluency, with comfort building business cases and reading what the numbers are actually saying
Excellent written communication and high attention to detail.
Self-directed and reliable. You manage your own time, communicate proactively, and follow through on commitments
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity in a professional context is an advantage
