Role Description The VP of Leadership Development is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and driving the overall leadership development strategy across the organization and its community. This role oversees the creation and implementation of leadership programs, workshops, and learning pathways that align with organizational goals and participant needs. The VP leads needs analysis initiatives, consults with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures succession planning frameworks are in place to support sustainable leadership pipelines. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with cross-functional partners, guiding training content and delivery, monitoring program effectiveness through data and feedback, mentoring team members, and representing The Leadership Journey in strategic partnerships and thought leadership platforms.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Leadership Development and Succession Planning, with experience designing and scaling leadership programs.
Strong capabilities in Needs Analysis and Consulting, including assessing organizational requirements and recommending tailored solutions.
Proven experience in Training design and facilitation, with the ability to develop engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and change management skills to influence at senior levels and drive adoption of development initiatives.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory leadership practices.
Experience leading remote teams and working effectively in a virtual environment.
Background in organizational development, HR, learning and development, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are beneficial.
