Power BI Developer (Remote - CA, FL, TX Only) - 2-3 Month Temporary - $44-$60/hour
** Candidates must reside in California, Texas, or Florida.
** No third-party agencies, Corp-to-Corp (C2C), or sponsorship available.
** This assignment is expected to last 2-3 months.
Immediate need for a Power BI Developer to support an established reporting environment and assist with report development, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to maintain existing reporting solutions, resolve report refresh and connectivity issues, and develop new dashboards and reports based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Troubleshoot report refresh, connectivity, and data issues
Investigate and resolve issues related to semantic models, data schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables
Develop new Power BI reports and dashboards based on stakeholder requirements
Gather and document reporting requirements from business users
Translate business needs into scalable reporting and visualization solutions
Develop and maintain semantic models within Microsoft Fabric
Work with data from Salesforce, ERP systems, Snowflake, and other enterprise applications
Create intuitive, user-friendly reporting experiences
Validate data accuracy and ensure reporting integrity
Document reporting solutions and support knowledge transfer as needed
Requirements
3+ years of experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models
Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
Understanding of data schemas, fact tables, dimension tables, and semantic models
Experience troubleshooting report refresh failures, data connectivity issues, and reporting performance concerns
Proficiency with DAX, Power Query, SQL, and PBIX development
Experience integrating and modeling data from multiple enterprise systems
Ability to gather requirements and convert business needs into reporting solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Organized, responsive, and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards
Experience working with Snowflake
Power BI workspace administration and security management experience
Experience with Python
Microsoft Power BI certifications
