Client Liaison & Interior Designer

Role Description The Client Liaison & Interior Designer is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing client relationships while delivering thoughtful design solutions aligned with the podcast’s brand and related initiatives. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with clients and collaborators on design needs, gathering requirements, and translating project goals into interior concepts and layouts. The role involves developing space plans, preparing design presentations, and collaborating on architecture and construction documentation as needed. The team member will source FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), manage selections and specifications, and ensure all design elements support the podcast’s identity and content themes. This position also includes regular communication with stakeholders, aligning expectations, and keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection, with the ability to create cohesive, brand-aligned environments.
Strong skills in Space Planning to optimize functionality, flow, and user experience in physical or conceptual project spaces.
Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings, including coordination of basic documentation and collaboration with technical partners.
Excellent client liaison and communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into clear design direction and manage expectations.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities suited to a part-time, remote work environment, including self-directed task management.
Proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., CAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software) is highly beneficial.
Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field; a relevant degree or certification is preferred.
Interest in project management, media, or podcasting environments and comfort collaborating with creative and technical stakeholders.
