Role Description The AI Business Strategy Manager is a remote, contract role responsible for identifying and implementing AI-driven opportunities to enhance Cook in Rio’s business operations and customer experience. This role involves analyzing existing processes, customer journeys, and marketing activities to recommend AI solutions that improve efficiency and revenue. Day-to-day tasks include developing data-informed business strategies, defining AI use cases (such as customer personalization, demand forecasting, and process automation), and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical AI initiatives. The AI Business Strategy Manager will also evaluate potential tools and vendors, create implementation roadmaps, and monitor performance metrics to ensure AI projects deliver measurable value. Regular communication with leadership and cross-functional partners is expected to align AI strategy with the company’s vision for growth and guest experience.
Qualifications
Strong background in business strategy, management consulting, or product strategy with experience applying AI or data analytics to solve business problems.
Knowledge of AI concepts and tools (e.g., machine learning, recommendation systems, chatbots, predictive analytics) and ability to translate technical possibilities into clear business use cases.
Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement, including defining KPIs, interpreting trends, and creating actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Experience in customer experience, digital marketing, or growth strategy, ideally in hospitality, tourism, or experiential services.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus around strategic initiatives.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in AI, analytics, or strategy are a plus.
Comfort working in an international, culturally diverse environment and an interest in food, travel, or experiential tourism is highly beneficial.
