Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for assigned business units. The individual in this role will prepare and review monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing variances, monitoring key financial metrics, and providing insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead or support financial projects, and assist in improving financial processes and controls. This role also involves supporting audits, managing financial data integrity, and presenting clear, concise reports and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret and explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics, including experience with ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet tools.
Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance requirements, ideally with experience supporting audits and process improvements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach and sound judgment in evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and present financial findings to leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred but not required.
Several years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a multi-location or multi-business-unit environment.
Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.
