Role Description The Proprietary Trader, Digital Assets role is a full-time remote position focused on trading digital asset markets using the firm’s capital. Responsibilities include analyzing market data, identifying trading opportunities, and executing trades in line with defined risk parameters and trading strategies. The trader will monitor positions in real time, manage risk exposure, and adjust strategies based on market conditions and liquidity. Daily activities also involve performing technical and fundamental analysis, documenting trade rationales and performance, and collaborating with the broader trading team to refine strategies and share insights. The role requires disciplined execution, adherence to compliance and risk guidelines, and continuous learning in rapidly evolving digital asset markets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Analysis skills, including charting, indicators, and market pattern recognition.
Candidates should possess practical Trading and Proprietary Trading experience, preferably in digital assets or other liquid markets.
Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including market microstructure, risk management, and portfolio concepts.
Candidates should possess the ability to design, test, and refine Trading Strategies based on data-driven approaches.
Relevant experience with digital asset exchanges, OTC trading, and trading platforms is beneficial.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using trading and analytics tools.
High level of discipline, integrity, and ability to operate autonomously in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if offset by demonstrable trading performance.
Experience with programming or scripting (e.g., Python) for backtesting or data analysis is an advantage.
