What You'll Do
Design, solve, and review advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning
Apply your domain expertise to craft complex problem statements that push AI models to their limits
Evaluate AI-generated solutions for academic rigor, logical soundness, and technical accuracy
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to drive measurable improvements in model performance
Ensure depth, clarity, and intellectual integrity across every deliverable you produce
Who You Are
Holder of a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university
Experienced researcher with a strong track record — publications, complex projects, or advanced technical work
Exceptionally clear communicator, both in writing and reasoning
Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to complex problems
Self-directed and reliable when working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or data quality workflows
Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
Familiarity with AI model development, benchmarking, or prompt design
Background spanning multiple technical disciplines — cross-domain thinkers are especially valued
