Associate Lecturer (Level A) - Nursing

As an Associate Lecturer (Level A) in Nursing, you will support the delivery of high quality nursing education while contributing to teaching, scholarship, and student success within a collaborative academic environment.
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging learning experiences across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
Facilitate contemporary teaching and assessment practices that support student achievement.
Continuously enhance teaching effectiveness through professional development and reflective practice.
Contribute to research, scholarship, and professional activities within the nursing discipline.
Engage with industry and community partners to support student learning and employability outcomes.
This is a continuing, full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level A range $82,704 - $111,219 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $96,764 - $130,126 per annum.
To be successful in this role, you will
Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
Possess a Bachelor of Nursing and a postgraduate qualification in nursing (Graduate Certificate or higher) or bring significant relevant clinical and professional experience.
Demonstrate strong contemporary nursing knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across academic, clinical, and professional environments.
Be committed to ongoing professional development, with completion of, or current enrolment in, a master’s degree viewed favourably.
