About The Role

We're looking for Machine Learning Engineers to help train advanced large language models — not by writing model code, but by doing something arguably more impactful: showing AI how to think.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for technically sharp people who can break down complex problems into clear, structured reasoning. You'll be creating the training data that teaches AI models to plan, use tools, and make better decisions — work that sits at the very frontier of applied AI research.

What You'll Do
Author detailed, structured reasoning traces that document how an expert would approach and solve complex technical tasks
Capture step-by-step planning, tool use, and decision-making in a clear, reproducible format
Produce high-quality training data that teaches LLMs to reason reliably in real-world scenarios
Evaluate and refine AI decision-making workflows for logical consistency and accuracy
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Background in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field
Able to articulate complex logical and technical reasoning clearly in writing
Analytically sharp — you can evaluate a multi-step problem and identify where reasoning breaks down
Detail-oriented and methodical in how you approach structured tasks
Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation systems
Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI training workflows
Background in software engineering, ML research, or technical writing
Experience designing or evaluating AI reasoning pipelines
