Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Registered Nurse role based in Junagadh City. The Staff Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with established protocols. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring infection control and safety standards are followed. The role involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, supporting patients and families with clear information and education, and assisting in admissions, transfers, and discharges. The nurse will also participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and may help mentor junior staff or nursing students as needed.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse license, with completion of a recognized nursing program (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent).
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
Knowledge of hospital protocols, infection control practices, and basic emergency and critical care procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate nursing documentation and use electronic or paper-based medical records efficiently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting patients and families.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on reliability and professional conduct.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is preferred; familiarity with local healthcare practices in Junagadh is an advantage.
