Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Firmware Engineer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Firmware Engineer will design, develop, and optimize embedded software and firmware for chip design and system simulation platforms, working closely with hardware and software teams. Daily responsibilities include implementing firmware features on RISCV-based systems, integrating low-level drivers, and ensuring reliable communication between hardware components and higher-level software. The role involves debugging complex embedded systems, performing root-cause analysis, and improving performance, stability, and security. The Firmware Engineer will also create technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and collaborate in an iterative, startup-style development process.
Qualifications
Strong embedded software and firmware development skills, including experience with Embedded Software and general Software Development.
Knowledge of Synopsys Virtualizer
Solid understanding of hardware fundamentals and system design, including Electrical Engineering principles relevant to embedded systems.
Experience working with RISCV architecture, including low-level programming, driver developmental, and performance optimization on RISCV-based platforms.
Proficiency in Debugging embedded systems, using tools and systematic methods to investigate and resolve firmware and hardware-related issues.
Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal development.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in technical discussions.
Experience in EDA tools, semiconductor design, or system simulation is a plus.
