Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Assistant role based in Azamgarh. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations, including receiving and processing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter, answering phone inquiries with professional etiquette, preparing and labeling medications, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves managing inventory, stocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and ensuring the pharmacy area is organized and clean. The Pharmacy Assistant works closely with the pharmacy team to provide timely, courteous service and uphold all safety and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills related to Prescription handling and basic Pharmacy operations.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Phone Etiquette skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, including stock control and record keeping.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic computer literacy for managing pharmacy software and electronic records.
Prior experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
Relevant vocational training or coursework in pharmacy assistance or a related field is beneficial.
