Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is seeking an experienced and analytical Lead Finance Analyst with at least 8 years of experience in financial reporting and analytics, strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for management. This role can be based in our Palo Alto, CA location, or based remotely in the US.
Intuitive Machines is a leading space infrastructure company that builds spacecraft, connects networks, and operates infrastructure-as-a-service for commercial, civil, and national security customers. With a proven track record across the space domain, the Company, through organic growth and portfolio expansion, has built over 300 spacecraft, delivered over 260 kilograms of payload to the lunar surface, and provided precision navigation expertise that has guided spacecraft across our solar system.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, analyze, and maintain weekly/monthly financial reports, management reports, and performance dashboards.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
Utilize advanced Excel functions, macros, pivot tables, and charts to analyze and present financial data.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Prepare financial presentations and communicate key insights to management and business stakeholders.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyze financial information.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and presented in a clear and actionable manner.
Take ownership of assigned financial analysis and reporting projects from start to finish.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in financial reporting and financial analytics.
Experience in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, nested formulas).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights to management and stakeholders.
Comfortable preparing, reviewing, and presenting management reporting.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $97,000.00 - $161,000.00 annually.
The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $97,000.00 - $161,000.00 annually.
The base pay for this position within Delaware is: $97,000.00 - $161,000.00 annually.
The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $107,000.00 - $178,000.00 annually.
The base pay for this position within California is: $111,000.00 - $185,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
