Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Ensure accurate financial records: Balance and code the previous day’s transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries
Verify and audit transactions: Review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments
Reconcile banquet revenue: Audit banquet tickets and match them with banquet orders to ensure proper billing
Monitor financial adjustments: Track and route rebates, miscellaneous charges, promotional tickets, and paid outs
Maintain recordkeeping: File and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements
Collaborate for success: Assist team members and other departments as needed
