Role Description
The AI & Data Science Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to support ongoing projects and research initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include applying basic statistical methods, exploring datasets, building simple data models, and preparing clear reports or dashboards under supervision. The role involves supporting AI-related experiments, documenting findings, and collaborating with mentors and team members to develop practical solutions. The intern will also participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, contribute ideas to improve workflows, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.
Good foundational knowledge of Statistics for data exploration and validation.
Strong understanding of Data Science fundamentals, including Machine Learning concepts and model evaluation.
Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Analysis, including working with datasets, extracting insights, and creating visualizations.
Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with data science libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn.
Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Passion for AI, Machine Learning, and continuous learning is essential.
