Job Description
As an Automation Tester - SDET, you will be a key contributor to our software quality assurance efforts. Your expertise in automated testing will be instrumental in maintaining the reliability and performance of our web-based and API-based applications. Working closely with development teams, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our software meets the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts using C# for web and API testing.
Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test plans.
Execute automated tests to identify and report issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to adapt to changing project needs.
Perform manual testing when necessary to validate specific scenarios or edge cases.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to development teams on test results and identified issues.
Ensure test coverage for all critical areas of the software, including functionality, performance, and security.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure a seamless testing process and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
Proficiency in C# programming language for test automation.
Experience in testing web-based and API-based applications.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with banking and credit card platforms is a must.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing frameworks.
