About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Conversion Intelligence & Automation Lead to join us on a 12-month fixed-term basis, leading the evolution of how we onboard customers and migrate data into Gentu through AI, automation, and data-driven innovation.
This role is not about building a conversion function from scratch. Instead, you'll take an established ecosystem and make it smarter, faster, more predictive, and highly scalable through the application of AI, automation, AWS cloud services, and data intelligence.
Working across Product, Engineering, Data, and Implementation teams, you'll identify opportunities to streamline onboarding, improve data quality, automate manual processes, reduce migration risk, and create intelligent capabilities that continuously improve future customer conversions.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in transforming conversion from an operational process into a strategic competitive advantage that accelerates customer onboarding, improves customer experience, and supports business growth.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the evolution of our customer conversion and onboarding capabilities, leveraging AI, automation, and data intelligence to drive efficiency and scalability.
Identify opportunities to improve migration processes, reduce onboarding effort, and enhance customer outcomes.
Design and implement intelligent automation solutions that improve data quality, reduce risk, and minimise manual effort.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Implementation teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
Optimise AWS-based platforms, data pipelines, and conversion frameworks to improve performance and reliability.
Use insights from historical migration data to develop predictive capabilities and strengthen conversion readiness.
Establish metrics and reporting to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
Champion an automation-first mindset, helping transform conversion and onboarding into a strategic competitive advantage.
About You
You're a strategic and innovative problem solver with a passion for leveraging AI, automation, and data to drive meaningful business outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and have a track record of delivering scalable solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
You’ll bring:
We're looking for someone who has a strong background in software, data, cloud, or automation engineering, along with a passion for using technology to solve complex business challenges and improve customer outcomes.
You'll ideally have:
5+ years' experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience delivering automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements in complex environments.
Hands-on experience developing and supporting cloud-native applications and services within AWS.
Strong experience solving data transformation, integration, and migration challenges across multiple systems.
Demonstrated ability to improve business processes through technology, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
Experience working within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-driven organisations.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bonus points if you have experience supporting software implementations, migrations initiatives, implementing AI or Machine Learning solutions in operational environments, although this isn't essential.
