Job Summary
DSG Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP design consultancy. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing mechanical HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed PHE/HVAC/FF for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Develop design calculations, equipment selections, layouts, and technical specifications.
Prepare and review MEP drawings, schematics, and design documentation.
Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting services.
Review drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Attend design coordination meetings and incorporate project requirements and feedback.
Assist in resolving design and site-related technical issues.
Ensure timely completion of assigned design deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with an MEP Design Consultancy.
Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Good knowledge of PHE/FF/HVAC design principles, calculations, and system selection.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Good understanding of MEP coordination and interdisciplinary design.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
