Contract Professional Engineer – Pressure Vessels / ASME / PVHO
OxyEdge is seeking an independent Professional Engineer with an active Tennessee PE license and direct pressure-vessel experience for project-based contract work.
We have pressure-vessel designs and CAD packages developed by experienced engineers. We need a qualified Tennessee PE to review the engineering, verify calculations and design criteria, direct any required revisions, and take appropriate responsible charge of the final engineering package.
The completed drawings and engineering documents will be sealed by the PE where appropriate and released as fabrication-ready plans for qualified U.S. fabrication companies.
Experience Required
• Active Tennessee Professional Engineer license
• Pressure-vessel design and engineering
• ASME Section VIII, Division 1
• Stainless-steel welded pressure vessels
• Pressure calculations, openings, reinforcement, welds, relief systems, and testing
• Experience reviewing and sealing engineering documents
Preferred
• ASME PVHO-1 experience
• Pressure vessels for human occupancy
• Hyperbaric, diving, aerospace, autoclave, or similar pressure systems
• PV Elite, COMPRESS, FEA, or equivalent analysis experience
This is remote, project-based contract work with the potential for ongoing projects. We are specifically interested in working directly with an experienced U.S.-based PE rather than a large engineering firm.
