Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day work includes space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing presentations for client meetings. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are executed as planned and within project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will conduct site visits, oversee installation details, and support quality checks throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential and commercial environments.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams.
Experience with FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Proficiency with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for client interactions and vendor coordination.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant professional experience is preferred.
Awareness of current design trends, sustainability considerations, and local building practices.
