Team Leader- Metallurgy

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Metallurgy to lead metallography activities and supervise day-to-day operations of the Metallography Department. The role will be responsible for technical review, Advanced Metallography report preparation, Boiler RLA reporting, and coordination with cross-functional laboratory teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day Metallography Department operations and provide technical guidance to the team.
Review metallographic examinations and ensure compliance with laboratory quality requirements.
Prepare, compile and review Advanced Metallography technical reports.
Coordinate with laboratory teams for timely collection and integration of test results.
Prepare Boiler Remaining Life Assessment (RLA) reports related to destructive testing.
Document metallurgical observations, damage assessments and condition evaluation findings.
Ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of technical reports before release.
Support laboratory audits, training and quality compliance activities as required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Metallography and Metallurgical Testing.
Experience in technical report preparation and review.
Knowledge of RLA / Remaining Life Assessment and destructive testing.
Good analytical, documentation and team coordination skills.
Ability to lead and supervise technical laboratory activities.
Education & Experience
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy / Materials Science or related field.
Experience: Relevant experience in Metallography, Metallurgical Testing, RLA or related laboratory activities.
