Workday Functional Consultant (Multi-Module Openings: HCM Core, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Security, Talent & More)

About the Role
We are expanding our global Workday practice and seeking experienced, versatile Workday Functional Professionals to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, configure, test, and support robust Workday solutions across various functional domains. You will partner closely with HR and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient Workday configurations that enhance employee experience and streamline global HR operations.
Open Positions & Core Module Expertise
We are hiring across multiple functional specializations. Candidates should have deep hands-on expertise in at least one (or a combination) of the following Workday modules:
Workday Core HCM: Organization structures, staffing models, business processes, and tenant setup.
Workday Absence & Time Tracking: Leave types, accrual plans, eligibility rules, and time-off policies.
Workday Security: Role-based security, domain security policies, user administration, and security audits.
Workday Talent & Performance: Performance management, goal setting, career development, and succession planning.
Workday Compensation: Compensation packages, merit plans, bonus/stock administration, and grading structures.
Workday HCM Reporting: Advanced reports, calculated fields, composite reports, dashboards, and Prism Analytics.
Workday Learning: Course catalogs, content curation, learning paths, campaigns, and compliance tracking.
Workday Benefits: Benefit plans, eligibility rules, annual enrollment configuration, and carrier integrations.
Workday US Payroll: Pay groups, earnings/deductions, tax configurations, pay calculations, and payroll balancing.
Workday Recruiting: Job requisitions, candidate management, offer management, onboarding workflows, and career site configuration.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and enhance assigned Workday functional modules in alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with HR leaders and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver optimized solutions.
Design and test business process workflows, security changes, and system updates during bi-annual Workday releases.
Support system integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio) by partnering with integration and technical teams.
Ensure data integrity, compliance with global data privacy regulations, and adherence to internal security controls.
Create comprehensive process documentation, job aids, and user training materials.
Desired Skills & Expertise
3 to 12+ years of total IT/HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday experience in the respective module.
Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework, Security architecture, and tenant setup.
Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
Familiarity with Workday reporting tools, calculated fields, and data load tools (EIB).
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and process optimization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
