Accountant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring inventory-related financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate documentation of import-related costs and duties. The role also involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, supporting audits and tax filings, and maintaining compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and sales teams to provide financial insights, control costs, and support decision-making for Sidrons’ premium tile and surface solutions business.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory or stock-related accounting.
Candidates should possess skills in tax compliance, audit support, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and regulations.
Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems), Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA in progress or completed) are an advantage.
Experience in trading, import/export, or building materials industries is beneficial, along with familiarity with GST and other local tax requirements.
