Power the Future of AI & Why This Role Matters
We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer – Platform Engineering & DevOps to provide technical leadership across our platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and deployment ecosystem.
This is a senior hands-on role responsible for architecting and evolving scalable, secure, resilient, and highly automated platforms supporting Sirion’s global SaaS environment.
You will drive technical direction across platform engineering, multi-cloud infrastructure, automation, security, Akamai, and SSL/TLS certificate management, while remaining hands-on with complex engineering challenges.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Architect and evolve scalable and reliable platform engineering capabilities across our SaaS environment.
Drive automation across infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, deployments, configuration management, and operational workflows.
Design and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and OCI.
Strengthen cloud and infrastructure security, including IAM, network security, vulnerability management, and secure configurations.
Own Akamai capabilities across CDN, traffic management, application delivery, performance, and security.
Drive SSL/TLS certificate management, including provisioning, deployment, renewal, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Architect and optimize container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Establish Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
Strengthen monitoring, observability, performance, and reliability across production environments.
Provide technical leadership, solve complex production challenges, and mentor engineers across teams.
Skills & Experience You Bring to the Table
Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE within large-scale SaaS environments.
8+Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and OCI, with proven experience working across multi-cloud environments.
Deep expertise in automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management.
Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and similar automation platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security, including IAM, network security, vulnerability management, and governance.
Hands-on experience with Akamai, including CDN, traffic management, performance optimization, and security.
Strong experience with SSL/TLS certificate management and lifecycle automation.
Strong Linux administration, scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to architect complex infrastructure solutions, influence technical direction, and mentor senior engineers.
