Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for leading civil engineering design and execution for various construction projects in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing and reviewing design plans, drawings, and technical specifications; overseeing site activities to ensure structural integrity, quality, and safety; and coordinating with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. The Senior Civil Engineer will manage planning and scheduling of civil works, supervise junior engineers, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and project standards. The role also involves conducting site inspections, monitoring stormwater management measures, resolving technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in engineering processes and project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong civil engineering foundation, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills.
Experience working as part of a team of Civil Engineers, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
Proficiency in project Planning for civil works, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage design and implementation practices.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Relevant professional experience in building, infrastructure, or land development projects.
Familiarity with industry standards, local regulations, and construction safety practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Proficiency with civil engineering design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) is an advantage.
