Role Description The IoT Engineer Intern will support the design, development, and testing of IoT solutions that integrate sensors, edge devices, and data platforms to enhance sustainability and climate intelligence capabilities. This internship role, based on-site in Bhubaneswar, involves working with hardware such as Raspberry Pi and related components, configuring IoT devices, and assisting in building prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to write and debug code, document technical work, and participate in troubleshooting and performance optimization. Responsibilities also include researching new IoT technologies, contributing to integration with ZenX, and following best practices in security, data handling, and reliability.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Internet of Things (IoT) concepts and practical exposure to IoT systems and architectures.
Programming and Software Development skills, with experience in at least one language commonly used in IoT (e.g., Python, C/C++, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience or coursework involving Raspberry Pi or similar embedded/edge computing platforms.
Understanding of Inductive Output Tube (IOT) or related electronic components and basic electronics principles.
Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Ability to read schematics, work with sensors and communication modules (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT), and use basic lab equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and frameworks.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, on-site team environment.
