Role Description The Python Developer Intern will work full time on-site at the Ghaziabad office, contributing to the development and maintenance of backend services that power the Indicator Engine and related trading infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing Python code, implementing object-oriented designs, and assisting in the development of APIs and backend systems for algorithmic trading workflows. The intern will collaborate with senior developers to integrate broker APIs, manage database interactions, and help build tools that support custom strategies, dashboards, and automation. The role also involves debugging issues, optimizing performance, documenting technical work, and participating in code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability. This position offers exposure to real-world trading infrastructure and the opportunity to learn from a team building production-grade systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, preferably in Python.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs and server-side frameworks.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development practices such as version control, testing, and debugging.
Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including schema design, queries, and data integrity.
Familiarity with algorithmic trading concepts, financial markets, or quantitative workflows is beneficial.
Ability to learn quickly, follow secure coding practices, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication for documenting code and systems.
