Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer (B2B Contract) - Portugal Only
Location: Remote - Must be based in Portugal
Contract Type: B2B Contract / Full-Time (Permanent Remote)
About The Role
We are hiring a *Senior Full Stack Engineer (6+ years experience)* on a *B2B contract basis* who is *currently residing in Portugal*.
You will be responsible for building and scaling full-stack applications, working on microservices architecture and owning cloud deployments end-to-end.
*Note: This is a Portugal-only position. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Portugal on a B2B basis and be based in Portugal.*
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React for frontend and http://Node.js / Python / Golang for backend.
- Build microservices and scalable APIs (REST / GraphQL).
- Manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments on AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Ensure performance, security and availability of production systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to best practices.
Must-Have Requirements
- *6+ years* of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- *Mandatory: Currently based in Portugal.*
- Strong frontend expertise in *React.js, http://Next.js, TypeScript, Redux/Zustand*.
- Strong backend expertise in *Node.js (Express/NestJS) AND one of Python (FastAPI/Django) or Golang.*
- Good understanding of *Microservices, System Design & Distributed Systems*.
- Hands-on with *Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD*.
- Expertise in Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS
- Monitoring stack: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry
