About The Role
We are looking for an R&D professional with strong expertise in iron complex development. The role focuses on process development, optimization, scale‑up, and technology transfer for injectable iron products.
What You’ll Do
Lead development of ferric and ferrous iron complexes (iron sucrose, ferric carboxymaltose, iron polymaltose, iron isomaltoside, etc.).
Drive process optimization and troubleshoot issues like precipitation, aggregation, yield, and consistency.
Execute lab and pilot‑scale experiments, then scale up to production.
Collaborate with QC, QA, and production teams for smooth technology transfer.
Interpret analytical data (GPC, particle size, zeta potential, iron assay) to ensure product quality.
Document protocols, reports, and scale‑up procedures.
Identify opportunities for yield improvement, cost reduction, and product quality enhancement.
What We’re Looking For
Hands‑on experience in iron chemistry and complex formation.
Strong knowledge of oxidation/reduction chemistry and process parameters (pH, temperature, reaction time).
Proven track record in process scale‑up and technology transfer.
Ability to connect process parameters with analytical results.
Experience in pharmaceutical/API development of parenteral iron products is highly preferred.
Ideal Candidate
A technically strong R&D professional who can independently take an iron‑complex product from lab development → process optimization → pilot trial → scale‑up → technology transfer.
