We are currently seeking experienced nursing professionals who are physically located in Texas, California, or Minnesota and are able to provide in-person clinical precepting to nursing students.
THIS IS A PHYSICAL / IN-PERSON PRECEPTOR POSITION
We are NOT looking for virtual preceptors for this position.
The selected preceptor must be able to provide hands-on, in-person clinical supervision and mentorship at an appropriate clinical practice setting.
Applicants interested only in virtual or remote precepting should not apply for this position.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs), APRNs/NPs, and other qualified nursing professionals to serve as Physical Clinical Nursing Preceptors for nursing students.
The selected preceptor will work with students in an in-person clinical environment, providing direct clinical guidance, professional mentorship, competency development, observation, evaluation, and feedback.
The ideal candidate has strong clinical experience and previous experience with nursing students, new graduate nurses, clinical instruction, precepting, or nursing education.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-person clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing students.
Guide students through real-world patient-care experiences and clinical situations.
Support development of clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Supervise students during appropriate clinical activities within the preceptor's scope and facility requirements.
Help students apply nursing theory and classroom concepts to clinical practice.
Evaluate clinical reasoning, assessment, communication, documentation, and professional competencies.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.
Monitor student progress throughout the clinical experience.
Promote patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice.
Help students develop clinical prioritization, communication, and professional skills.
Complete required student evaluations and clinical documentation.
Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and appropriate standards of conduct.
Communicate with nursing faculty or educational teams regarding student progress when required.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all applicable requirements:
Currently reside in Texas, California, or Minnesota.
Hold an active, unrestricted nursing license applicable to the clinical role.
Strong hands-on clinical nursing experience.
Ability to provide physical, in-person clinical precepting.
Demonstrated experience mentoring, precepting, teaching, or supervising nurses or nursing students preferred.
Strong understanding of clinical competency development and professional nursing standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong clinical judgment and mentoring abilities.
Ability to work with nursing students in a physical clinical setting.
Strong organization and documentation skills.
Commitment to patient safety and professional nursing standards.
