About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Analytics Manager / Inhouse Consultant (m/w/d) to join our team at the Kötz location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building, supporting, and advancing our data and analytics platform based on SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing a robust data foundation for reporting, artificial intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI) use cases, ensuring our data infrastructure is AI-ready and capable of supporting innovative projects. You will oversee data integration and modeling, develop insightful dashboards and reports, and ensure the smooth operation and continuous optimization of our BI and data solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate with external service providers, manage transformation projects, and contribute to the advancement of our data capabilities in line with industry standards and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field. You should have several years of professional experience (approximately 3-4 years) in the SAP BW environment or related data platforms. A strong interest in data, reporting, and analytics within SAP ecosystems such as BW, Datasphere, and SAC is essential. You should demonstrate enthusiasm for data modeling, integration, and modern reporting architectures, coupled with a structured and solutions-oriented work approach. Knowledge of standards, data quality, and governance is highly valued. Openness to new technologies, especially AI and GenAI applications, is crucial. Experience in SAP, BI, controlling, IT, or related areas is advantageous. The role requires proactive initiative, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Fluency in both German and English is required to facilitate effective communication within our international environment.
Responsibilities
Build, support, and continuously develop the data and analytics platform utilizing SAP BDC and SAP Datasphere technologies.
Establish a comprehensive data basis to support reporting, AI, and GenAI use cases, ensuring data is AI-ready.
Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and support of our business intelligence and data platforms.
Perform data integration and modeling within SAP Datasphere to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support strategic decision-making processes.
Optimize existing solutions through regular maintenance and performance enhancements.
Coordinate with external service providers, managing quality assurance and acceptance testing to meet project standards.
Lead transformation projects such as migrating from BW 7.5 to SAP BDC, Datasphere, and SAC, ensuring smooth implementation.
Collaborate on AI initiatives, supporting GenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) use cases to enhance business insights and automation.
Promote data governance, quality, and compliance standards across all data-related activities.
