Role Overview:-
The Presales Solution Engineer will work closely with the Sales, Delivery, Product, and Cybersecurity teams to understand customer requirements, design end-to-end security solutions, develop technical proposals, conduct product and solution demonstrations, and support the sales team throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should combine cybersecurity technical expertise, solution architecture skills, presentation ability, and commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Understand customer business, IT, and cybersecurity requirements.
Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer objectives.
Develop solution architectures, technology stacks, scope of work, and implementation approaches.
Map customer requirements to Infopercept’s cybersecurity services and technology capabilities.
Recommend appropriate solutions across areas such as:
Offensive Security / VAPT
SOC & MDR
SIEM / SOAR
Cloud Security
Network & Endpoint Security
Identity & Access Management
GRC & Compliance
Vulnerability Management
Security Assessment
vCISO / Cybersecurity Advisory
Presales & Customer Engagement
Participate in customer meetings, discovery sessions, workshops, and technical discussions.
Conduct compelling technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and demonstrations.
Act as the technical advisor to customers during the sales cycle.
Identify customer pain points and translate them into solution requirements.
Support proof-of-concepts (PoCs), evaluations, and technical validations.
Address technical objections and provide appropriate solution recommendations.
Proposal & Bid Management
Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, and Statements of Work.
Develop BoQs, solution BOMs, effort estimates, and high-level implementation plans.
Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams on pricing and solution commercials.
Ensure proposals clearly communicate business value, technical differentiation, and expected outcomes.
Support presentations for enterprise and strategic customer bids.
Sales Enablement
Work with Account Managers and Sales Leaders to qualify opportunities.
Provide technical support throughout the sales lifecycle.
Build reusable solution presentations, reference architectures, case studies, and technical collateral.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity technologies, regulations, and market trends.
Support partner and OEM engagements where required.
Required Technical Skills
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, architecture, and enterprise IT environments.
Knowledge of multiple cybersecurity domains including SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, VAPT, IAM, GRC, Cloud Security, Network Security, and Vulnerability Management.
Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.
Ability to interpret security requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience creating solution architectures, technical proposals, and RFP responses.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
Knowledge of cybersecurity products, OEM ecosystems, and managed security services is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8–12 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solution engineering, security consulting, or technical sales.
Experience working with enterprise customers is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCNA, AZ-500, AWS Security, or ISO 27001 will be an advantage.
