About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Architect with a strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, excellent visualization skills, and attention to detail. The candidate will work closely with senior architects, designers, site teams, vendors, and consultants to develop and execute high-quality interior and architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop interior and architectural concepts, space planning, and interior design details.
* Prepare presentation drawings, mood boards, design layouts, and client presentations.
* Prepare detailed working and execution drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
* Develop 3D models, views, and presentation visuals for design proposals.
* Coordinate with senior architects, site teams, vendors, and consultants.
* Visit project sites to understand execution requirements and coordinate with site teams.
* Prepare furniture factory drawings and detailed furniture drawings for manufacturing.
* Prepare GFC and working drawings for interior and architectural projects.
* Develop knowledge of and work with construction materials, finishes, detailing, and execution techniques.
* Assist in ensuring design intent is accurately translated into site execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
* Knowledge of 3D modelling and visualization.
* Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office.
* Ability to prepare professional design presentations and layouts.
* Ability to prepare furniture factory and execution drawings.
* Understanding of GFC drawings, working drawings, materials, finishes, and detailing.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and work within project timelines.
