About the role
We are looking for a Technical 3D Animator / AI Mocap Specialist to produce a high volume of calm, accurate, and engaging animation videos teaching yogic and traditional practices for reducing stress and anxiety. You will be responsible for creating and managing a core library of 5–6 3D characters and establishing a scalable pipeline driven by AI motion capture from real practitioner footage. The work covers pranayama, asanas, and meditation, and will be used across our mental wellness app, website, and social channels.
Key responsibilities
Turn practitioner reference footage into exact 3D animation using AI motion capture tools.
Apply, clean up, and retarget mocap data onto pre-rigged 3D characters, performing manual corrections where AI tools fail to ensure precise anatomical accuracy, weight, and timing for instructional poses.
Work directly with our certified yoga expert, who must sign off on every AI-assisted pose, alignment, and breath count before release.
Generate and design calm background visuals or abstract loops for breathing/meditation guides using generative AI video tools.
Produce multilingual versions rapidly by creating core videos in a strictly language-agnostic manner, allowing localized audio tracks and breath counts in any desired language to be seamlessly overlaid using AI voice generation and lip-sync tools.
Deliver clean project files, utilize reusable assets, and maintain a highly organized library to support a high-volume output of thousands of videos.
Directly design, construct, and manage a core library of 5–6 high-quality 3D characters tailored for yogic animations.
Maintain efficient production timelines with a target output of 1 high-quality video every 1–2 days, demonstrating technical efficiency during an initial practical assignment.
Required skills and experience
4+ years of professional experience in video/animation creation, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with the specified 3D, mocap, and AI video production tools.
A strong portfolio or showreel is required. We will weigh demonstrated mocap cleanup, movement accuracy, storytelling, and production polish above formal degrees.
Hands-on experience with 3D character pipelines (rigging, retargeting, and rendering), a strong understanding of human anatomy, and the technical skill to perform essential manual cleanup and precision corrections whenever AI tools fail to guarantee output quality.

Tools and technologies

3D & Mocap (Must-have): Blender, Unreal Engine, or Maya. Expertise in AI Mocap tools such as Move.ai, Rokoko Vision, Plask, or DeepMotion.
Video & Audio Editing (Must-have): Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
AI Production (Preferred): Image/Video consistency workflows (ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion), generative video models (Runway, Google Veo, Kling), and upscaling tools (Topaz).
AI Audio (Preferred): Voice, dubbing, and lip-sync tools like ElevenLabs or VisualDub.
Note: You must understand the commercial licensing terms of any AI tool you use. AI-generated poses or instructional movements are never published without review by our yoga expert.
Education
Preferred, not mandatory. Any one of the following:
B.Des / M.Des in Animation, Communication Design, or a related specialization.
B.Sc / M.Sc in Animation, Multimedia, Computer Science, or equivalent.
We welcome candidates with equivalent professional experience and a strong technical animation portfolio in lieu of formal degrees.
Nice to have
A personal interest in, or practice of yoga, meditation, mental health, or wellness.
Past work for a health, wellness, meditation, or fitness brand.
Comfort with Indian and international visual references and multilingual content.
Using performance data to improve designs, such as engagement and completion rates.
