Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Freelance Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, creating layout plans, and selecting finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with client requirements and project budgets. Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients, conducting site visits and measurements, preparing mood boards, construction drawings, and 3D or 2D visualizations as needed. The role also involves coordinating with contractors and vendors, reviewing workmanship and materials, and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout execution. The designer will collaborate with the upholstery and interiors team to deliver cohesive, high-quality projects within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) skills, including selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create functional, efficient layouts.
Candidates should possess experience in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution on site.
Candidates should possess proficiency in design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic project coordination skills.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio demonstrating completed interior projects.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and contractors, manage multiple projects part-time, and work on-site in Bengaluru as required.
