About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Product team. This is a product-aligned role that goes beyond routine reporting and focuses on using data to understand product performance, customer behaviour, transaction trends, and improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collect, clean, validate, and analyze product, customer, transaction, and business data.
● Create and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and trackers for key product and operational metrics.
● Monitor product adoption, usage, conversion, drop-offs, transaction trends, and customer behaviour.
● Support the Product Manager with data and insights for product reviews, feature prioritization, and decision-making.
● Identify trends, anomalies, gaps, and improvement opportunities through structured analysis.
● Measure and report the impact of product launches, feature enhancements, and process changes.
● Coordinate with Product, Technology, Operations, and other teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
● Translate product and business questions into meaningful analysis and clearly communicate actionable insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, or in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
● 0-1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong internships, academic projects, or hands-on analytics exposure may also apply.
● Working knowledge of SQL and strong proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
● Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or a similar data visualization tool.
● Basic understanding of data cleaning, analysis, interpretation, dashboarding, and reporting.
● Strong numerical aptitude, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Interest in digital products, customer journeys, fintech, or payments is preferred.
● Basic knowledge of Python or another analytical programming language will be an added advantage.
