Role Description The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and hygienic guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces at Shagun Hotel & Resort Khandwa. Day-to-day tasks include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring all areas meet hotel cleanliness standards. The role also involves handling laundry, reporting maintenance issues, following safety and sanitation procedures, and responding to guest requests in a polite and timely manner. The Housekeeping Associate will work closely with the front office and other departments to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Shagun Hotel & Resort in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Laundry handling, including washing, drying, folding, and proper care of linens and guest clothing.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact courteously with guests and coordinate effectively with team members.
Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage cleaning tasks, supplies, and time efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Candidates should possess the ability to participate in and support Training related to housekeeping procedures, safety, and hygiene practices.
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is beneficial, but dedicated and trainable candidates are welcome.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift, and follow safety and hygiene guidelines.
Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues.
