Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gaya. This role is responsible for driving sales growth for Home Square’s tiles and bathware portfolio within the assigned territory, including managing distributor and retailer relationships. The Area Sales Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, meet regular sales targets, and monitor market trends and competitor activities. Daily tasks include visiting clients, conducting product presentations, negotiating pricing and contracts, coordinating with internal teams for inventory and delivery, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves preparing sales reports, forecasting demand, and supporting promotional activities and local marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, account management, and negotiation abilities.
Candidates should possess relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to manage retailers, distributors, architects, and interior designers effectively.
Candidates should possess market analysis and planning skills, such as forecasting, reporting, and understanding local market trends in building materials or interior products.
Candidates should possess communication and presentation skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to deliver product demonstrations.
Candidates should possess basic digital and administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
Previous experience in tiles, bathware, building materials, or related interior design products is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Gaya and travel within the territory as required.
