Computer Aided Design Designer

WE’RE HIRING for our esteemed engineering consulting client | CAD DESIGNER & SENIOR CAD DESIGNER
Work Location: Ahmedabad - Nikol
Working Days:- 1st & 3rd Sat off
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, banquette seating, wall cladding, doors including fire-rated doors, paneling, ceilings, wooden counters, shelves, TV units, vanities, headboards, loose furniture and more.
• Convert architectural/engineering sketches into accurate manufacturing/shop drawings.
• Create scale plans and layouts for interiors, foundations and structures using CAD software.
• Use advanced AutoCAD 2D & 3D features including Dynamic Blocks, Attributes, Sheet Sets, Xrefs and Constraints.
• Review and specify material finishes, wood joints and manufacturing details and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure drawings comply with architectural plans, fabrication requirements and manufacturing standards for wood and metal joinery.
We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in:
• Modular Furniture
• Architectural Millwork
• Furniture Detailing
• Joinery & Fittings
• Shop Drawings & Production Drawings
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience
AutoCAD proficiency – Preferred
SolidWorks knowledge – Advantageous
Relevant experience in modular furniture, joinery or architectural millwork is mandatory
Strong understanding of furniture construction, fittings, dimensions and detailing
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
Experience: 1–3 years in Furniture / Joinery Drafting
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Current Requirement – 5 Positions
3 Candidates – AutoCAD Proficient
2 Candidates – SolidWorks Proficient
