Role Description The Medical Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The individual in this role promotes and sells pharmaceutical and healthcare products to healthcare professionals, clinics, and hospitals, building strong relationships and ensuring product knowledge is clearly communicated. Daily responsibilities include visiting target accounts, conducting product presentations, responding to inquiries, and providing post-sale support to maintain customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring market trends, collecting feedback from customers, coordinating with internal teams for timely supply, and meeting or exceeding sales targets while adhering to company policies and ethical standards. Accurate reporting of sales activities, maintaining records in CRM tools, and participating in training sessions to stay updated on product developments and medical guidelines are integral to the position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Medical Sales skills, including territory management and experience meeting sales targets.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex information clearly.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and provide ongoing support.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Medicine and Pharmacy to understand product indications, usage, and safety.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field are preferred.
Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation is required.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales in the Mumbai region is an advantage.
Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM systems, along with a valid driver’s license for local travel, is beneficial.
