​Job Profile
​The Manager - Legal will handle contracts management, litigation, and intellectual property. This role balances hands-on technical drafting with high-level advisory functions, ensuring the company’s interests are protected in court and in the boardroom. The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator capable of translating complex legal risks into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
​
Roles and Responsibilities
​1. Litigation Management & Strategy
a) ​End-to-end handling of all civil, criminal, land and property related, IBC, Sec 138 NI Act and other commercial litigation matters involving the company.
b) ​Liaise with external counsels to brief them on matters, draft and review pleadings, and track case progress.
c) ​Represent the company in court hearings, arbitrations, and before statutory authorities where required.
d) ​Maintain litigation MIS and provide periodic updates on the probability of outcomes and financial exposure.

2. Executive Reporting & Presentations
a) ​Prepare high-impact visual presentations for the periodic reviews and board meetings regarding legal health, risk heatmaps, and regulatory changes.
b) ​Synthesize complex legal data into concise summaries for non-legal stakeholders to facilitate quick decision-making.
​
3. ​Experienced in handling matters relating to labor laws, data privacy, and compliance under applicable laws and emerging commercial regulations.
4. Contracts drafting, negotiation
Skilled in drafting and vetting of contracts such as EPC, MSAs, NDAs, PPAs, banking finance related documents, loan agreements, mortgage/hypothecation etc.
​Skill Sets
a) ​Technical Excellence: Advanced knowledge of different nature of litigations, under Contract Act, IPR laws, and Civil/Criminal Major Acts.
b) ​Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain composure during high-stakes litigation or conflict.
c) ​Analytical Thinking: Strong "business-first" mindset with the ability to offer solutions, not just identify problems.
d) ​Tech Savvy: Proficiency in PowerPoint, word and advanced Excel/Legal Tech tools for process management.
e) Team Player: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within Legal team and across departments, ensuring alignment and avoiding isolated working practices.​
Qualifications and Experience
​Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed institute.
​Experience: 7–9 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). A mix of Law Firm and In-house experience is highly preferred.
​Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing court cases and end to end contracts management.
Preferred candidate Profiles: Candidates with prior experience in infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, particularly in handling EPC, PPP contracts, and turnkey projects having excellent communication skills to be preferred.
