Want to own a real product instead of a ticket queue?
We're building an operations platform for security guard companies — dispatch, incident reporting, gate access, HR and scheduling — with a mobile app for guards in the field. The platform is built and working. It needs one developer to take it to production and beyond.
You'd own the entire stack: NestJS API, four React web apps, React Native mobile app, database and deployment. You'll make the engineering decisions and explain them clearly to a non-technical founder.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱
Core engineering
✅ 2+ years building production web apps in JavaScript/TypeScript
✅ Strong React — hooks, component architecture, state management, data fetching
✅ Node.js backend experience with NestJS — modules, providers, guards, DTOs and validation
✅ PostgreSQL beyond CRUD — schema design, joins, indexing, migrations
Infrastructure
✅ Hands-on AWS experience — you'll take this from a dev machine to real, repeatable infrastructure
✅ Comfortable with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
AI-assisted development
✅ Experience building with Claude (Claude Code or the API) — this codebase was built with it
Security mindset
✅ Solid grasp of authentication and authorization, and why enforcement belongs on the server
✅ Care about data isolation — every customer's data stays strictly within its own boundary
How you work
✅ Self-directed, honest about what you don't yet know, and willing to read a large codebase before changing it
✅ Clear written English
