Role Description Plan, schedule, and supervise all phases of villa construction — civil, structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), interiors, and finishing works. • Review architectural and structural drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with architects/consultants for clarifications. • Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring work quality matches approved drawings and specifications. • Prepare and monitor project schedules (MS Project/Primavera or equivalent), flagging delays early and proposing corrective action. • Estimate, procure, and track materials; verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and site requirements. • Coordinate and supervise contractors, sub-contractors, and labor teams; resolve on-site issues promptly and fairly. • Maintain strict budget control — track costs against approved estimates and report variances transparently. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local building codes, and statutory approvals. • Maintain accurate daily/weekly progress reports, site diaries, and documentation (photos, measurements, material logs). • Conduct quality checks at each construction stage before sign-off. • Liaise professionally with the client/owner, architects, consultants, and vendors, providing honest and timely updates. • Handle disputes, delays, or vendor issues calmly and constructively.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering • At least 7-10 years of experience managing residential/villa or independent house construction projects end-to-end. • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, structural drawings, and MEP coordination. • Proficiency with project scheduling and estimation tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, etc.). • Sound understanding of local building bylaws, approvals, and safety regulations.
