Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for driving growth and expanding Ricardo Elevators’ market presence. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and corporate clients, and conducting client meetings, site visits, and product presentations. The role involves preparing and negotiating proposals, collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate solutions and smooth project handover, and monitoring sales pipelines and forecasts. The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, track competitor activities, contribute to pricing and sales strategies, and provide regular performance and activity reports to leadership.
Qualifications
Experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in elevators, construction, real estate, or related infrastructure sectors.
Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation to build and maintain long-term partnerships.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze sales data, and develop effective go-to-market and growth strategies.
Proficiency in communication and presentation, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, accessible language.
Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic sales reporting and documentation workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working in a structured, target-driven environment.
Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, travel within the region as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
