The opportunity
Our hotels sell through global wholesalers, bedbanks, OTAs and corporate channels. Each channel has its own rate structure and contract terms. Correct numbers decide if a channel makes money for the hotel.
In this role, you own these numbers. Your analysis tells the team which rate to offer, which channel to grow and which problem to fix first. You work directly with the Director of Distribution and with our Revenue Managers
What you will do
Build and update the net rate card for each hotel on each channel.
Calculate markups, commissions and net rates. Make sure that no channel sells below the hotel's own price.
Compare loaded rates with contracted rates. Report the errors.
Check rate parity across channels.
Analyse which hotels and channels sell, and which do not.
Prepare the numbers for each rate decision before it goes to a partner.
Must have
2 to 4 years in hotel revenue management, pricing or analytics, at a hotel company, an OTA or a travel company.
Correct and fast arithmetic. You can calculate net and sell rates with a markup or a commission.
Good knowledge of ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, BAR and stay restrictions.
Strong Excel: pivot tables, lookups, weighted averages.
You check your numbers before you share them.
Good to have
Experience with US hotels.
Knowledge of wholesale or bedbank rates.
SQL or a BI tool (for example Metabase, Power BI).
Experience with STR reports or rate-shopping tools.
