Role Summary
We are looking for a React.js Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our front-end development team.
The candidate will be responsible for developing responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.js, Redux, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices. You will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to build, integrate, and maintain features for CoffeeWeb.
Exposure to Svelte or SvelteKit will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and related libraries.
2. Build reusable and maintainable React components following front-end development best practices.
3. Integrate REST APIs and work closely with backend developers for seamless data integration.
4. Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional and responsive web interfaces.
5. Manage application state using Redux or other suitable state-management approaches.
6. Identify and resolve UI, functional, and performance-related issues.
7. Optimize front-end applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
8. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and other development activities.
9. Follow Git/GitHub-based development and code collaboration practices.
10. Document technical changes and contribute to maintaining development documentation.
11. Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them within agreed timelines.
Required Technical Skills
1. HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
2. Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals.
3. Hands-on experience with React.js and component-based development.
4. Experience with Redux or similar state-management libraries.
5. Good understanding of REST APIs and API integration.
6. Familiarity with Git/GitHub and basic branching/version-control practices.
7. Understanding of browser debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
Good to Have Skills
1. Svelte / SvelteKit experience or familiarity.
2. Experience with TypeScript.
3. Familiarity with Material UI or other UI component libraries.
4. Exposure to Next.js or similar React frameworks.
5. Basic understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
6. Familiarity with front-end testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or similar.
7. Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Soft Skills
1. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
2. Clear communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
3. Strong attention to detail and focus on UI quality.
