Role Description The Quality Control Inspector role at POLYMETALL is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The individual in this role will perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities include using measurement tools and inspection equipment, documenting inspection results, reporting nonconformities, and working with production teams to resolve quality issues. The Quality Control Inspector will also assist in implementing quality procedures, supporting audits, and maintaining accurate records for quality reporting. Collaboration with supervisors and cross-functional teams is essential to ensure continuous improvement in product quality and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Inspection to assess materials, components, and finished products against defined standards.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to support implementation of procedures, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to report findings clearly, collaborate with production teams, and support training on quality requirements.
Practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with familiarity using measurement instruments and inspection tools.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing production priorities.
